A Cross‑Cultural Identity
for a Global Trading Brand.

l. Context
TALWAR Trading Ltd. FZC is rooted in the dynamic construction landscape of the United Arab Emirates, operating at the intersection of heritage and rapid urban development. The brand stands among emerging skylines and infrastructure, supplying premium construction materials and heavy equipment to projects that shape the region’s future. This cultural and commercial setting called for an identity that embodies both local authenticity and a global business mindset.

ll. Assignment
The task was to develop a visual system capable of resonating across different markets. In the MENA region, the brand needed to express cultural belonging and trust, while in Europe and beyond it had to feel equally contemporary and internationally adaptable. The solution had to scale seamlessly from business stationery and packaging to large‑format trade materials while preserving its premium tone.

lll. Design Direction
The identity system is built around three interconnected elements:
– Primary lockup: a bilingual composition combining the Latin wordmark with Arabic lettering, complemented by a monogram symbol.
– International lockup: a refined version for global use, focused on clarity and modular structure.
– Calligraphic accent: a crafted Arabic signature, used as a cultural motif woven into applications to add texture and depth.
The monogram symbol transforms into an expressive geometric pattern, echoing the language of architecture and engineering.
A restrained palette of black and gold reinforces the premium character and ties the system together into a confident, cohesive visual identity.
